Each year in September, the Cannes Yachting Festival welcomes the main players in the world of yachting. Exhibitors, visitors, owners and future buyers come together to explore the 2 ports of the French Riviera: “Le Vieux Port” and “The Port Pierre Canto”.

With nearly 550 boats on display in water and on land, among them one hundred world premieres, come and discover the only in water show in Europe. Enjoy the unique opportunity to take the helm of a luxury yacht and feel the pleasure of sailing through sea trials.

Carbon beauty: Xquisite X5

The swooping lines of the Xquisite X5, a South African-built catamaran that’s new to the United States, stood out among the big cruising cats at the Strictly Sail show in Miami this past February. Company owner Tamas Hamor explained that the boat on show was really a sheep in wolf’s clothing; it was, in fact, the Dean Cat 5000, the last boat built by Dean before Hamor bought the yard and set about revamping (and renaming) the boat.
The next X5 will be a very different animal. Hamor sailed some 20,000 miles on his own Dean Cat and had an extensive list of changes he wanted to make. The hull and deck molds have been tweaked to improve sailing performance and ergonomics, there’s a new interior layout, and the build process has been brought right up to date with a resin-infusion system that will significantly cut weight. An extensive standard inventory will make the X5 one of the best-equipped luxury cats on the market. The first example of the new-look X5 will be shipped to Florida next year in time for the Miami show in February 2016.

At end of Freeway continue East onto I-395
Exit on NE 2nd Ave/Biscayne Boulevard
Turn right onto Biscayne Blvd.
Bayside will be approximately 8 blocks on the left side.

From Westbound MacArthur Cswy (I-395):

Exit Biscayne Boulevard
Turn left onto Biscayne Blvd
Bayside will be approximately 9 blocks on the left side.

Parking is available at Bayside Marketplace, next door at Bayfront Park and several lots within walking distance to the show.

If these lots are full use the Park & Ride at American Airlines Arena one block north from Bayside Marketplace. The official show Park & Ride offers transportation to each of the show sites in a comfortable air conditioned bus.

SHUTTLE BUS SERVICE
Courtesy shuttle buses will run between all boat show locations and the park and ride locations Click Here (coming soon) for park and ride locations, starting one hour prior to show opening through one hour after show close daily.
Free shuttle service is offered to and from the Miami Beach Convention Center the Sea Isle Marina and Miamarina at Bayside beginning one hour priot to show opening through one hour after show closes daily. The Yacht & Brokerage Show is not affiliated with the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail.

WATER TAXI SERVICE
Courtesy Water Taxi service is available between the Sea Isle Marina, and Progressive Insurance Strictly Sail Miami at Miamarina at Bayside from 10am–7pm daily.
