      The hull is of sandwich composite construction using Quadriaxial stitched fabrics, Divinicell composite PVC foam and Epoxy Vinyl Ester resin. This gives a stiff laminate with excellent strength and lightweight properties
      The engine beds are of GRP and bonded to the hull
      Sea-cocks under water line are Marelon and located in accessible positions
      Hose connections to inboard side of stainless steel sea-cocks have two stainless steel hose clamps

      Access to the engine rooms is via 2 specially moulded large hatches in the aft cockpit floor.
      These hatches are lockable and feature gas struts
      Two x Yanmar Marine diesel engines Model 4JH80-TE (80HP at 3200RPM) with SD60-T sail drive units, both freshwater cooled, Stbd side coupled via the heat exchanger to a 60L Calorifier for hot water.
      Each engine is mounted on a specially moulded bed.
      Complete passive ventilation system
      Wet exhaust system including water trap, gooseneck and anti-siphon.
      Yanmar fixed 3 blade propeller
      Fuel capacity is 790L, 2 x tanks, 1 for each engine with shut off valve.
      Fuel transfer pump to transfer fuel from one tank to another
      Fuel filter/water separator in each engine room
      Fuel tanks vented to deck via a breather with flame arrestor.
      Both engines start from a dedicated engine starting battery mounted in a each engine room.
      Overhead LED lights in each engine compartment.

    • PLUMBING

      All freshwater hoses of re-enforced PVC tubing with “speed fit” connections.
      All hot water piping enclosed in a neoprene covering to maintain temperature over long periods of time
      860 L rigid polyethylene water tanks in front lockers for easy removal and cleaning.
      Tank vents terminate on deck
      One water heater of 60lt with 110V resistor element. Complete with strainers, check valves and accumulator tank.
      All grey water from showers is discharged overboard by a automatic drain pump
      Two large capacity water pressure pumps mounted in front lockers near water tanks with accumulator tank
      Each pump draws water from the appropriate fresh water tank and service the entire boat.
      100 Ltr/26.42 US gal/min manual bilge pump, one for each hull.
      Outlets are above water level and discharge overboard.
      Holding tanks for 3 x toilets.
      4 x hi capacity electric bilge pumps with automatic sensors for main bilge area.
      Washer drier in forward area of stbd heads. Laundry area includes removable shelves at back of washer dryer.
      Water maker – Newport 400 NP-MK II-400S fully automatic with backwash/fresh water flush – 62Ltr + Connect Controller (new digital controller panel)
      Dishwasher – 45cm D/Washer – 10 place setting
      Connection for hose to hose down chain in windlass locker
      Fresh water filter for ice maker fitted in cupboard next to fridge
    • ELECTRICAL

      On board DC electrics are 12/24V with two wire-insulated return.
      Wires are sized to minimize voltage drop.
      All light current wiring is silicon tinned wiring which is flame proof and does not give off toxic vapours
      All light current conductors carrying an excess of 50 Amps are 50-70mm².
      All light current conductors programmed and powered by C-Zone digital switching
      Batteries – the ship’s auxiliary load consists of 6 x 1000 Ahr 2V Gel batteries
      A separate battery is supplied for engine starting.
      For good heavy current termination, copper tinned bus bars are used.
      A comprehensive DC main digital switching switch panel is located in the Nav Station.
      Mastervolt Easyview for battery status monitoring
      AC circuit – including shore power inlet sockets, shore power cord, electrical panel with necessary breakers and earth leakage.

                  The Xquisite Catamaran Center (formerly Running Mon Marina) is surrounded by the turquoise and cerulean waters that the island is known for, the Xquisite Team has created a peaceful oasis for boaters. Just 10 minutes from the heart of Grand Bahama, in a secluded bit of tranquility for marine enthusiasts who have traveled to the island to get acquainted with their very own luxury Xquisite vessels or to enjoy a private charter.

                  Bridging Continents for Luxury Sailing

                  The Xquisite Catamaran Center is also home to the company’s corporate offices, charter base, brokerage office, training center, Xquisite Service Center, and accommodations – making it an easy entry point.
                  Stephen Joyce, Xquisite’s Global Service Manager, notes that their X5 Plus luxury catamaran is built in South Africa, making Grand Bahama a central location for their United States-based customers to receive their vessels and undergo a comprehensive two-week training on-site.
                  “One of our experienced Captain/Technicians gives the two week onboard client training” adds Joyce.

                  “During the two week client training, we create an enjoyable, safe and educational environment for our clients. They receive a detailed understanding of all the systems and components on board, as well as dockside training and tons of sailing time. After the two weeks training, we offer a concierge service for our clients.”
                  “In the event they have any issues or problems with third-party components, we liaise between the client and the third-party component manufacturer to resolve the issue, making their life as easy as possible.”













                  The Xquisite Culinary Voyage: A Blend of Cultures at The Galley

                  The Xquisite team’s attention to detail also extends to their on-site restaurant. The Galley, which is led by Chef Harold Pinder, features a menu of intricately balanced dishes and flavors. Chef Harold, who is joined by Shankea Ambrister and Willard Martin in The Galley kitchen, describes their cuisine as “…very diverse, and a good blend of cultures from all around.”
                  He also noted that he likes to bring local ingredients to the forefront, weaving them together with international techniques to create something that guests won’t soon forget.
                  The Galley can be accessed via land or sea, with a short-term marina docking slip for restaurant visitors.
                  The Xquisite Catamaran Center has recently been outfitted with all new amenities. Their hotel room renovations scheduled to be completed by the end of 2023.
